Joy with Children???
OK, somewhere along the way I bought in hook-line-and sinker that kids made you happy. That family life was "the way." I gotta confess- from a God-fearing, church going, I- believe -that -families -are -forever-kinda-woman.... MY KIDS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY AND I WISH I COULD BE ANYWHERE BUT HERE RIGHT NOW. I swear, Elie turns into a walking (kinda walking) nightmare every night at about 6:00 p.m. Emma, just now finished off her carrots (3 slices of carrots by the way is what we are talking about) that she started 1 hour ago and finally got to get up from the dinner table. Isaac did pretty good tonight, so I won't complain there. I just want to scream, "Calgon take me away!" (Do any of yall remember those commercials?) I want to live in the moment and all that jazz, but right now, I'm seriously counting down the days until my kids get out of my house!!! Aghhhh. Or at least out of diapers.
